7 Ways to Soothe a Crying Baby

Whether it is wind, griping pain or colic, a crying baby can be really upsetting and difficult for parents – especially first-time parents. At times you feel helpless. Trying to comfort a inconsolable baby is hard, I know I have cried myself a few times!

Colic normally stops before they are four to six months old. Every baby is different but there are a number of things you can try to comfort your baby and relieve some of their distress and discomfort like:

• Holding your baby during crying episodes
• Giving your baby Infacol drops to aid digestion and release trapped air in your baby’s digestive system.
• Giving your baby a warm bath
• Getting outside in the fresh air.
• Burping your baby after every feed.
