Isn't it strange how everyone, from your nosy neighbor to the dude at the drive-thru window becomes an expert the minute they know you're expecting? Well now you're the expert, as we separate pregnancy fact from pregnancy fiction.

Myth number 1: If you're having a girl, you're carrying high. So a lot of people think that boys like to descend further down into their mother's pelvis close to the due date or girls like to ride high the whole time. Myth number 2: If your hands are dry, you're expecting a boy. The truth? No way. If you're hands are dry, you probably just need some lotion. Treat yourself, mama.

Myth number 3: Hairy babies give moms heartburn. The truth? I thought this one was the craziest of them all, but it's actually true. A recent study found that babies born to women who had moderate to severe heartburn actually had more hair than the average baby.
