Tip #1 - Sleep on your side: When you sleep on you back, the baby's weight will compress the blood flow to your heart. Ease the pressure by sleeping on your side. Make your sleep more comfortable by tucking a pillow in between your kness to align your legs and spine.
Tip #2 - Cut back on drinks three hours before bed: In your first trimester, the uterus is expanding to make space for your baby. It adds pressure to your bladder, making you urinate frequently.
Tip #3 - Have a bedtime routine: Yes, it's useful for preggos, too! Your body needs at least 30 minutes to relax and prepare for sleep. Try a warm bath.
Tip #4 - Avoid heavy meals before bedtime: Try not to eat anything less than two hours before bedtime. It can cause acid reflux or heartburn.
Have a good night sleep mommy!
