Many pregnant women try and bring on labor naturally. According to a study, around 50% of pregnant moms attempt to get labour going themselves, compared to letting labour take it’s own course. 

It’s important to remember that only 2-5% of babies are born on their “guess” date, and around 40% are born in the two weeks after that.
