After Giving Birth to Twins: This Mom Refuses to Erase Her Post-Pregnancy Body

Every mother's post-pregnancy body looks different, but having a child can often result in scars, stretch marks, and flabby skin. Feeling confident in your postpartum body isn't always easy and many moms turn to plastic surgery to tighten everything back up. Singer-songwriter Alexa Wilding wants people to know there's another choice.

"So many women are trying to erase that rite of passage from their bodies, from their faces, their experiences. The old me needed everyone to tell her all the time that she was beautiful, smart, cool looking, and her music was interesting," Wilding said. "In a strange way, I'm free now. I'm still learning to be comfortable with being free, but I'm starting to feel a new sexiness. It's like a little seed that's just starting to sprout. I don't know what it's going to be or what it's going to look like, but it's coming."
