Everything You Need to Know About Having a C-Section: Pros and Cons

Being a mother is never an easy task. It comes with many responsibilities and effort. We believe that those great women who have gone through a cesarean section. Should proudly wear their "mark of happiness". C-section birth requires an immense amount of courage and strength to understand how heroic these women are. Here are three truths about c-section mothers that everyone should know.

1 - Post cesarean recovery: Women go through their post cesarean recovery as true heroine when the child is born, the mother's world revolves around them. She does virtually everything for her baby without any question. This requires a lot of sacrifice and effort which are often exhausting. Now imagine doing all that with pain! Yes, immense pain and discomfort is an inevitable part of the recovery process after the surgery.

Crossing the pain threshold and developing an inner strength they become stronger day by day. And this can be compared only to the strength of another mother. No matter how hard it is they always do it with a smile and love. Every sleepless minute, every diaper they change, every smile, and chance to hold that little hand feels their lives with meaning. That wonderful newborn baby justifies. It every pain and suffering is forgotten the moment they see their child happy.

We applaud each and every one of these mothers who are marked with a scar that allows them to never forget what they are made of. Dear moms carry that beautiful mark with pride because not every woman has that privilege. Do not hide it. Do not disguise it. This is an amazing reminder of how you gave life to a new person.

2 - Uncertainty: They don't know if everything is okay until they leave the operating room. The risk doesn't end with the birth of the baby. As in every surgery doctors can't determine if everything has been successful until the anesthesia has worn off.

In addition there is an important detail that few people know. The mother stays conscious during a C-section. She doesn't feel pain but she does feel all the movement that occurs inside of her. It is an unpleasant and invasive feeling and if she is not previously aware of it, it can be traumatic. Even so they go through it with their heads held high because the reward is great.

3 - Consequences of surgical intervention: You may think that a cesarean section is a common procedure but it's considered to be a major surgery. Like other types of surgeries c-sections carry risks for both mother and child. And women agree to bravely face all the consequences.

In addition it's very difficult for the future father or family members to be present in the operating room during the birth. Therefore women often stay there alone full of uncertainty and without any support. There can be no better example of battle then that where fear and loneliness struggle against the strength and unconditional love these women endure just to receive that beautiful baby.
