Nowadays, many career women are faced with the dilemma of choosing between their career and getting married and having children. It’s difficult to balance the hopes and dreams of a career with the creation of human life. It hardly seems fair that women have to make such a dramatic decision.
More moms than ever are in the workforce. According to AmericanProgress.org, "women now make up half of all workers in the United States, with nearly 4 in 10 homes having a mom that is also a working mother." Being a full-time working mother can lead to feelings of guilt and stress because of divided attention between work and family.
Women have to face the consequences of motherhood; hence, they must think long and hard before they decide to have a baby; otherwise, they might resent their child for stealing their opportunity for career growth.
