When Daphne-Louise was born she had a cord prolapse. It's so rare it only happens to about one in a thousand babies. Her mum, Shona, met the emergency doctor who saved her life. "The umbilical cord had been born before Daphne-Louise, so she was obstructing the blood flow and the oxygen to her body, into her brain. So we managed to take Daphne-Louise off the pressure of the cord, and restore the oxygen and the blood flow and get her in safely to King's Lynn, where she could have an emergency Caesarean section."
