Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

We asked women who have lost a pregnancy. To share their experience. This is what they had to say.

"It's okay to feel crushed or numb. There's no wrong way to grieve."

"You will cry and cry and cry, especially when no one is looking."

"Don't blame yourself. You did nothing wrong. It's not your fault."

"Friends and family may not understand. Find at least one person who does."

"Just keep breathing to get through the day."

"Joy will return."

"No one chooses this. But it may lead to another child who you'll love with your whole heart minus a little piece."

15 October is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It's a special time for parents and families to honour their babies who passed away from miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death.
