Pregnancy Diet Checklist

A balanced and healthy diet can help you avoid multiple complications during pregnancy. Certain checks on the kinds of food your consume during this time can prove to be a useful step both for mom and the baby.

When a woman is pregnant, it is recommended that they have an extra 100 calories in the first trimester and an extra 200 or 300 calories for the last two trimesters.
