The beautiful Danielle Hayley guides us through a yoga routine to help alleviate back pain during pregnancy. Generally, pregnant mums who do yoga exercises appear healthier, both in mind and body. Their bodies are more flexible, which enables them to adapt to various positions when in labour and the ligaments are more elastic, which in turn can help to reduce labour pain.'
Not all exercises are suitable for everyone. You understand that there are potential risks involved in any exercise activities, including, pregnancy yoga, and that you could experience physical problems during the exercise program, including abnormal blood pressure, fainting, heartbeat disorders and, in rare instances, heart attack. You also understand that you could experience muscle, back, or bone injuries during exercise.
Before attempting a new exercise, consider issues including your flexibility, strength and overall health. If you are less than 16 weeks pregnant please consult your GP before taking part in this exercise activity. If at any point during the program you begin to feel physical discomfort, stop immediately and consult a physician.
