Prenatal Pilates: Forward Lunge with an Open Twist

Forward Lunge with an Open Twist is designed to encourage baby to align with birth path. Strengthens hips and musces for the second phase of birth. Encourages dilation during surges. Lubrication of the whole spine.
 
• Place left leg infront.
• Breathe in, higher arms towards the sky.
• Without movement of hips, twist head and body.
• Left hand on inside of left knee.
• Right hand on lower back.
• Back foot extented and relaxed.
• Back to center and repeat.
• Breathe in, feel the stretch.
• Twist as you open your body.
• Come on back to your hands and knees.
