This is a full prenatal vinyasa class for experienced yoginis. We begin with breath work and a gentle warm up. We then move through sun salutations and a flowing standing sequence that peaks with a half moon balance. We open the hips with postures like malasana, goddess, and pigeon before ending with a few minutes of savasana.
This class is intended for women in the first or second trimester who are experiencing an active, healthy pregnancy who want to continue their vinyasa practice without having to modify every other pose.
This is not recommended for beginners or women experiencing any complications in their pregnancies. Always check with your doctor or prenatal care provider before beginning any exercise program.
