Your midwife at home will be checking what we call your perineum when you're at home and we'll be asking you every day if you're experiencing pain or any symptoms or the signs of an infection of the perineumas well.
Most commonly your GP or your six-week check will be checking down below to make sure everything's healed but obviously if you feel like you might need to be seen earlier or with contact your doctor or your GP.

The only scientifically proven method of naturally inducing labor is nipple stimulation. But you have to spend at least an hour at a time, three times a day for it to work. (Also, you should always consult with your doctor/midwife before trying this.)
