By 6 months, babies imitate those around them. When you move your hand or foot, their brain imitates your movements. Imitating each other enables babies to see the similarity between your acts and their own.

Babies spend 50% of their sleep time dreaming which is nearly twice that of adults. It is thought that they do not experience nightmares as they probably do not understand the concept of fear.

It's important to be aware that your baby's appetite may vary from day to day and that appetites vary from baby to baby. Therefore it's important as a parent that you respond to your baby's cues.
