The baby's arms and legs are still pretty jerky at this point. In fact, they probably don't even know that they're attached to their body. You may find that when you come towards your baby with a bottle or the breast, your baby will just instinctively know to open their mouths.

Whereas in the first month the fists are clenched like this, in the two month period, you'll feel like you baby's hands are more open at rest. Vision is now far moved developed at two months, your baby can now track an object.

The vision is further developed. Recognizing more complex designs and may recognize you from further distance. But the best part is the giggle. You can get a full belly laugh at this point.

This means when you pull your four month old up from a lying down position into a seated position, The head should stay aligned with the neck and shoulders. If you don't find that the baby has this head control, you should mention it to your pediatrician.

Your five month old is probably rolling now from tummy to back, and may even be rolling from back to tummy. This is a stage where your baby will now be able to sit with minimal support from you.

Your baby now has far greater control of his hands. Your baby will now pick up an object, transfer to the other hand, and will likely bring it to his mouth for further exploration.
