Babies and children really flourish in a warm, positive and relaxed environment. When you play with your baby or child try not to control or criticise what they do, instead keep things fun and full of warmth.
Messy play and painting are wonderful for children and they don't think about the end result and just enjoy the process so try not to take over when they are playing or creating.
