How to Safely Change Your Baby's Nappy

Changing diapers is one of mandatory tasks of baby raising as well as nursing. If you have some basic information you can always keep your baby dry and happy.

In first weeks you will need to change your baby’s diaper quite frequently. Because of his small bladder, he will pee in short intervals. You shouldn't leave it wet or dirty for a long time so his skin will stay healthy.

Nappy Changing

- Wash your hands before and after each change.

- Lie baby on a clean surface about waist height.

- Have everything you need within reach.

- Keep your hand on baby at all times so baby doesn't fall.

- For girls, wipe from front to back to avoid infection in the urinary tract or vagina.

- For boys, don't pull the foreskin back as it will damage the area.
